Focus Group Discussions

We will be running a series of small focus groups to gather information to help us design an intervention to improve mental health and wellbeing in people living with HIV.

We will talk in depth to different groups of people living with HIV, as well as clinic staff and health care providers from across the country, to better understand the needs of people living with HIV.

Many people living with HIV face issues with their mental and physical health and need extra support to live well. The best ways to provide that support are not always clear and it is important to understand what people living with HIV want from services.

We are holding focus group discussions to help us understand more about what support people living with HIV might need to improve their health and well-being. The focus group discussions will be led by two experienced researchers and last between 1.5-2 hours. Privacy will be protected at all times.

Focus groups will run over May, June and July 2023.

Please see below for a link to the Participant Information Sheet, that gives more details on what taking part in a focus group would involve.
